Why we exist

Evidence, coaching and advisory that actually makes a difference. We were brought together because we share a frustration: the evidence rarely turns into action. Too many evaluations end as reports on a shelf. Too much evaluation tick-boxes rather than transforms. Too many organisations think they're doing well while outcomes are getting worse. We're here to change that.

Our Story

The founders of PraxisCollab came together out of frustration with the gap between evaluation and change. We knew from our own practice that evidence only matters when it's turned into action — and that most organisations don't get the support they need to do that.

We built PraxisCollab as a collective, not a consultancy. That means we're values-driven, not profit-driven. Our work is underpinned by a shared commitment to making evidence matter for the people and communities it's meant to serve.

We bring together researchers, practitioners, coaches and advisors — people with different perspectives but the same belief: that evaluation should lead to lasting change.

Our Values

1

Evidence must be actionable to be useful

2

Practitioner wisdom and lived experience are equally valuable

3

Evaluation should be co-reflective, not tick-box

4

Lasting change requires ongoing support, not a single report

5

The person is at the centre, not as an abstraction but as a situated individual

6

We can't do this alone — collective knowledge matters

Our Work

Much of our work is in the social care and voluntary sectors in the UK. We work with local authorities, charities, NHS organisations, universities and other partners.

We also have international experience, supporting organisations and programmes beyond the UK. Whether you're in the UK or further afield, we'd love to hear from you.

Our work spans the full spectrum of research, evaluation, advisory and coaching — always with a focus on making evidence actionable and supporting lasting change.
